A GOLFER'S DELIGHT

Pavilion is located 5 minutes from 3 championship golf courses – a golfer’s delight! These three golf courses compliment each other and can satisfy the golfing needs of beginners to experts. The Pavilion is the perfect retreat for those who want to play golf in Jamaica.

Complimentary membership privileges at Half Moon Resort are extended to Pavilion guests. This includes full access to their fantastic beaches, beautiful pools, and unlimited free greens fee. The Half Moon golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and can be either walked with the assistance of a caddie or driven with a golf cart. The layout is open with relatively little elevation changes. The magic of the course is the bunkering and the approach to the greens. Choices of tees range from under 6,000 yards to over 7,000 yards. The prevailing winds help on the first three holes and then they are in your face from the 5th hole through 12th which can be extremely challenging. The finishing hole is a perfect way to conclude any potential wagers; it has a blind tee shot, water to the left of the green, and a trench in front of the green.

The White Witch is the newest and most dramatic course in the area. The layout is completely in the hills of Montego Bay and was carved out of the jungle. Elevation changes are dramatic and the views are equally spectacular. The White Witch is a course that requires a cart and a golf concierge to keep track of your shots.

The Cinnamon Hill course is a wonderful blend of the White Witch and the Half Moon courses. Cinnamon Hill starts on the flats and then winds its way out into the Caribbean Sea and back. The second nine holes climb into the hills of a former sugar plantation and parallels certain holes of the White Witch before it returns to the flats. Cinnamon Hill finishes on the challenging par five that tempts the golfer to either go for it or settle for a conservative par.
