Since your villa rental comes with a membership to the Half Moon Resort you can lounge on their beach chairs all day long. The best beach in the area is the Sunset Beach at the Half Moon Resort. There is a water sports desk where you can rent pedal boats, snorkel equipment or sail boats. There is also a beach-side bar and restaurant for your convenience.

Villa guests can open a charge account at the front desk when they arrive and charge drinks and food without carrying a wallet.

The Sunrise Beach at Half Moon is equally beautiful but a bit more isolated, often deserted and very peaceful – worth checking out!

If you are going to be at the Pavilion for a while and would like to check out other beaches in the area here are some options:

The Hilton Rosehall Beach Resort – You can purchase day passes which entitle you to use all of the Hilton’s facilities which are pretty good for young kids…the water park and slides are exceptional. You have to call ahead and ask the concierge if day passes are available since there are times when the hotel is full and they limit access. The restaurant by the water-slide makes a pretty good cheeseburger if you get hungry.

Coyaba Beach Resort- This is a small micro hotel located on the water. The menu is relatively simple, but the breeze is always the strongest. This is a good spot on a hot summer day if you are looking for something quiet and different.

Doctor’s Cave Beach- Beautiful white sand beach on the hip strip of Montego Bay.

Negril – A 2-hour drive for a fantastic 7-mile beach. Be sure to hit Margaritaville and Rick’s Café for the sunset! And bring lots of money for para-sailing and jet skiing.
